Return and Refund Policy
Introduction
This policy outlines how My Plumbing Needs handles returns, refunds, and defects regarding our products. It is integral to our Terms of Service and aims to clarify the rights and obligations of both the customer ("you") and My Plumbing Needs ("we", "us").
- Returns
1.1 Faulty Products
- You may request a return for any product that fails to operate as per the manufacturer’s specifications. Please initiate a return within fourteen days from the date of delivery.
- Products reported as faulty will be inspected by our partners at PJH, and a credit or refund will be issued based on the inspection results and our confirmation of the defect.
1.2 Surplus Products
- Products that are no longer needed but are in their original condition can be returned within thirty days of delivery.
- Special order products and Miele branded products are not eligible for return if they are surplus to requirements, due to their specific nature and usage limitations.
1.3 Return Conditions
- When requesting a return, the product’s condition must be verified and reported to ensure it matches the reason for the return.
- Faulty Products
2.1 Inspection and Credit
- Bathroom products deemed faulty upon our inspection, done through PJH, will be eligible for a partial or full credit or refund.
- Any product faults must be reported within fourteen days from the date of delivery. Post this period, we may not be able to accept a return request.
- Usage of faulty products after reporting must be ceased immediately to prevent further damage.
2.2 Branded Appliances
- For branded appliances, manufacturers usually prefer to repair the items on-site. Please refer to the manufacturer's contact details provided with your appliance for assistance. If not available, contact our Customer Service Team for support.
2.3 Sinks and Taps
- Returns for faulty sinks and taps will be sent to the manufacturer for inspection. Credits or refunds will be issued based on the manufacturer’s assessment.
- Surplus to Requirements Products
3.1 Return Process
- Products must be returned in their original packaging and condition, suitable for resale.
- PJH may request photographs to verify the condition of products before accepting returns.
- A re-stocking fee of £25 per order will apply and must be paid as per our agreed payment terms.
- Products reported as surplus after thirty days from delivery will not be accepted for return.
- Return Process

- Returns are processed when the goods are ready for collection and meet the criteria set for faulty or surplus products.
- PJH will arrange for collection attempts, typically within three days of the return request. If two collection attempts fail, the return process will be cancelled.
- Acceptance of products for return does not guarantee a credit or refund. PJH reserves the right to refuse credit if products are not in the stated condition upon receipt.
